Marine window is arranged on the wall of the upper deck superstructure, as square and rectangular window for light or ventilation. Rectangular window periphery with rubber seal, when close with the bolt pressed, to ensure weathertight. Weathertight means that in any sea conditions water will not penetrate into the ship.

Structure:Inner side open window, outside open window, inside open window, drop window and fixed window, etc. Bear pressure less than 5m water column. Ship windows arrangement of each deck size, height and form should be unified as much as possible

Rectangular window according to the size of the rib spacing with a suitable window, the other to consider is water tight pressure. Transparent size 400mm x 300mm can bear 50Pa pressure, 350mm x 50mm, 400mm x 550mm, 450mm x 600mm can be confined to 20Pa. In the superstructure of the general compartment window, the large size of the (550mm x 600mm, 600mm x 700mm, 800mm x 900mm) window is used to request a wide driving room.

Welding window

1.Hose test shall be carried out as follow, hose nozzle diameter: >16 hosing distance from window 2.5-3m, water pressure 0.2Mpa after maintain the pressure from 3 minutes no water mark could be found on the back of window

2.Both side of glass to be applied with removable plastic lamina

3.During installing the gap between window frame and wall gap in way of bolt hole to be filled with putty.

Fixed window

1.The steel part shall CB*/Z343 hot-dip processing , leaching layer thickness of not less than 45um, aluminum oxide plate blasting quality

2.flush test requiment: Nozzle diameter greater than 12.5mm, flushing distance: 1.5m ,nozzle water pressure:0.25 Mpa

3.Steel frame sand-blasting spit twice primer, color is gray

Fireproof window

The average temperature of the back side of fire is not more than 140C, the back of any point of the temperature rise does not exceed 180C

A0 class fire resistant separation to prevent smoke and flame through, there is a high temperature density requirements.

Soundproof window

Soundproof window is composed of 2 or 3 layers glass and window frame, glass sound insulation layer use noise damping glue by high temperature high pressure solid adhesive combination. In the window filled with sound absorption materials, effectively isolate the noise from each frequency channel.
